Leadership Portage County is a community-based leadership program that provides educational and networking opportunities for Portage County, Ohio. Each year, a new class of participants attend day-long themed classes that feature speakers from business, government, education, social services to share information and discuss critical issues and improve leadership skills. LPC offers two programs: Leadership Portage County and Youth Leadership Portage County, which offers a similar education and development program from high school youth in Portage County.
Our Mission:
The mission of Leadership Portage County is to provide unique insights into Portage County;
explore and develop various styles, theories and examples of leadership;
to provide opportunities to build relationships and networks;
and to serve as a catalyst for volunteerism and positive change in Portage County.
